Daily outfits from Avenue 57

I mentioned the other day about getting back to basics and remembering to show you my daily outfits. Then I remembered (I do that sometimes) that I quite often throw a picture up on Avenue 57 if I can't do a blog post and that got me thinking that maybe you don't all know about Avenue 57?
If you've not heard about this site, do check it out. I have made some lovely friends via it and really enjoy checking out what everyone's wearing each day. It's also a good spot to find out about discounts and deals as lots of the members will share codes etc.
Anyway, here are some photos that I shamefully neglected to show you on the blog but I did in fact share on A57. Feel free to call me a shoddy blogger but better late than never I guess?
First one is a charity shop day and my outfit consisted of a new (brand new AND new to me) scarf I picked up in the charity shop co-incidentally.
Scarf - French Connection
Vest - Primark
Jeans - Warehouse (jeggings)
Tan Suede Ankle Boots - Aldo
Next up was my outfit for travelling to London. Wearing the coat you'll have seen on this post about my blogger meet up but wore it with burgundy & black en route over.
Coat - Zara
Jeans - Gok @ Sainsburys
Boots - Moda in Pelle
Bag - Fossil @ Menarys
Scarf - Pull & Bear
And this is what I had on underneath my coat. It was snowing when I arrived so layers were the order of the day.
Burgundy Oversized Jumper - H&M
Denim Shirt - Sainsburys
Necklace - Freedom @ Topshop
Glasses - Firmoo
Next up and back in Belfast, another picture from the charity shop, featuring a new scarf I picked up in good old TK Maxx.
Navy Cardigan - Red Herring (old)
Cream Heattech Top - Uniqlo
Navy Skinny Jeans - Gok @ Sainsburys
Long Black Elastic Riding Boots - Hobbs
Scarf - TK Maxx
Still in the boots, the coats and the scarves. Pump weather seems to be many weeks away. But while you're still wearing winter coats, this week is the last week to send me a photo of you wearing your Merrell Wakefield or Ellenwood! Email to schoolgatestyle@yahoo.co.uk or tweet/facebook me the message. A lovely prize up for grabs - closing date is Wednesday at 10pm.

Have a good weekend...Avx

  3. Does the heat tech top work? Is it like a thermal top? Saw them in Uniqlo but didn't have time to investigate properly!

    1. Hard to know Helen...they are cosy...close fitting and different texture to cotton. Quite light but lovely and soft too so I'd say I'll be wearing it year round. They are not fluffy inside or heavy like some thermals. I guess it's all about the layers.....reckon they work best with a layer over. Would be too light on their own. xx

    2. Haha, I'm feeling a bit guilty about my splurge! I was more than happy to have dodged the camera on Thurs night - until I was about to leave and Ruth and I got cornered. :/
