If you've not heard about this site, do check it out. I have made some lovely friends via it and really enjoy checking out what everyone's wearing each day. It's also a good spot to find out about discounts and deals as lots of the members will share codes etc.
Anyway, here are some photos that I shamefully neglected to show you on the blog but I did in fact share on A57. Feel free to call me a shoddy blogger but better late than never I guess?
First one is a charity shop day and my outfit consisted of a new (brand new AND new to me) scarf I picked up in the charity shop co-incidentally.
Scarf - French Connection Vest - Primark Jeans - Warehouse (jeggings) Tan Suede Ankle Boots - Aldo |
Coat - Zara Jeans - Gok @ Sainsburys Boots - Moda in Pelle Bag - Fossil @ Menarys Scarf - Pull & Bear |
Burgundy Oversized Jumper - H&M Denim Shirt - Sainsburys Necklace - Freedom @ Topshop Glasses - Firmoo |
Navy Cardigan - Red Herring (old) Cream Heattech Top - Uniqlo Navy Skinny Jeans - Gok @ Sainsburys Long Black Elastic Riding Boots - Hobbs Scarf - TK Maxx |
Still in the boots, the coats and the scarves. Pump weather seems to be many weeks away. But while you're still wearing winter coats, this week is the last week to send me a photo of you wearing your Merrell Wakefield or Ellenwood! Email to schoolgatestyle@yahoo.co.uk or tweet/facebook me the message. A lovely prize up for grabs - closing date is Wednesday at 10pm.
Have a good weekend...Avx
Some lovely outfits. You have a great eye for the scarves.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jane...too much of a great eye. I am going to be found as a pensioner buried alive under 5000 scarves, with the rate I'm going! hehehe! xx
DeleteSome great outfits, whoo I love posting on the Avenue57 but have been in loads of jeans and jumpers lately, and not feeling to dressed up. So glad Spring is here looking forward to posting some more pictures :)
ReplyDeleteAw, you should still post your day to day stuff up there. You always look lovely, Avx
DeleteDoes the heat tech top work? Is it like a thermal top? Saw them in Uniqlo but didn't have time to investigate properly!
ReplyDeleteHard to know Helen...they are cosy...close fitting and different texture to cotton. Quite light but lovely and soft too so I'd say I'll be wearing it year round. They are not fluffy inside or heavy like some thermals. I guess it's all about the layers.....reckon they work best with a layer over. Would be too light on their own. xx
DeleteLove your French Connection scarf, tis gorgeous. Love your London look. x
ReplyDeleteAw thank you gorgeous girl...hope to see you at something soon - maybe Fashion Week? Avril x
DeleteHi Avril! Looking lovely as usual and very stylish in all the layers. I love a scarf like you and just can't help looking out for them to add to the ever growing collection!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sharon - there seems to be no end to the scarves...my wardrobe overcome with them at the moment! x
DeleteLove that red H&M jumper! You look lovely Avril xx
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks Sara! Was doing my Warehouse post today and realised I never got a pic of us two together on Thursday...raging! Think I was half asleep. Now I'm looking back on the pictures, I wish I bought loads more..tho maybe for the best! Avx
DeleteHaha, I'm feeling a bit guilty about my splurge! I was more than happy to have dodged the camera on Thurs night - until I was about to leave and Ruth and I got cornered. :/
DeleteYou look amazing - I LOVE how you dress. You always have layers done to perfection and your scarf collection must be huge?!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the A57 mention :-)

ReplyDeleteHi! Love that grey coat from Zara :) What I miss the most about London is the fantastic shopping and the amazing finds on the high street - you look great and I can't believe Gok has a line at Sainsburys?? See, I'm missing all the good stuff :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE, love, love that French Connection scarf! Isn't A57 fun?! Love the ladies on there - it's always fun to pay a visit:) xx
ReplyDeleteI keep meaning to sign up to A57, maybe do it today if this hangover subsides. Like everyone else I'm loving that scarf, and I think we have the same h&m jumper although mines in navy.
