SGS @ The Lyric - Part 2

Like all the best movies (this is debatable!), this blog post has a part 2 - what I wore on the 2nd day of my work event this week. As many of the participants wore jeans on the first day, I pushed the boundaries of smart casual and wore mine the next day. I made sure to wear a dressy tunic over them though...

Looking a bit frazzled as the second day was particularly tough and I was looking forward to jumping in the car and getting home when this photo was being taken! My tunic is from Danish brand Soaked in Luxury that I bought last year - here is a close up of the pattern:
Soaked is a brand you tend to pick up in smaller independent boutiques. Cocomarie is one online store I've come across and they have a nice selection on the link here. I highly recommend the Soaked long vests - I have a few of them and they are a lovely quality.
I've teamed it with some H&M Jeans, a H&M cream vest and my Clarks patent pumps. Also wearing the most adorable necklace from Room31 fashion...so cute and only £8.99!
Incidentally, I'm standing in front of the poster advertising 'Molly Wobbly's T*t Factory' - interesting poster, interesting name...read about it on this link. Does anyone know if it's worth going to?
Before I go, dont forget to take a picture of your best Jubilee outfit this weekend for my Styled By You - Jubilee Special next week. There's a prize for the most stylish Jubilee dresser. Send your entries to schoolgatestyle@yahoo.co.uk

    1. Thank you Megan...it was a bit edgy I thought for a work event but sometimes you have to push the boundaries a bit. So glad to have found a less dressy way to wear this tunic. Glad you like it x

    1. Thank you Claire! Another bargain from last year...knew it was meant to be mine when I saw it but then didn't wear it that much. So glad to have styled a more casual look and I'll be wearing it more often now I think x
