At the Boat Races with my 'It' Bag!

You were left hanging on after the last post! Sorry, but we were brought out for lunch by my lovely mother in law. How great not to have to cook today! Yes, I did purchase something in LK Bennett at the Banbridge Outlet. I am now the proud owner of an 'IT' bag! A pale pink Annina - as sported by Miss Pippa Middleton no less:
And here is mine all kitted out for our trip to the Ramada Belfast Boat Races:

I've never been one to get too over-excited about designer handbags but I'm really rather chuffed about this one - perfect size and colour and the most amazing leather. I doubt there are many bags of this quality in stores at the moment for such a great price (£112).
So here I am outside the enclosure at the Boat Races yesterday. Gorgeous day - breezy and sunny!
I'm wearing some of the pieces I bought in my pre-birthday shopping trip, thanks to my other sister for these! Loving this H&M blazer in a stone colour for just £29.99 and the 'Sanderson' print cotton top, also from H&M and only £4.99 this weekend in store! Nude pumps from the M&S Outlet - £16.
We brought along Mandy, the gorgeous Cavalier KS spaniel who belongs to our friend Anna. She attracted lots of attention. We ended up talking to so many people about dogs!
My favourite moment of the day was meeting the beautiful Tiffany Brien, Miss Northern Ireland 2012. She's stunning in real life and so tall! Bless her, she crouched down a bit for our photo (and I went up on my toes!)...
Tiffany has started a blog also so we had a quick chat about that. She is running her blog on Facebook as a day to day record of all she gets up to during her year as Miss Northern Ireland. I don't know about you but I love this kind of thing so I've liked her page and will be vicariously living a Miss NI lifestyle through it. :)
While in the enclosure, I also met the lovely Rebecca from IN! Magazine - Northern Ireland's Social Monthly. Now they have a great Facebook page too - lots of fashion and celebrity gossip with a local twist. I've been enjoying their photo montage of Kate Middleton's Jubilee outfit today.
I'll leave you with my birthday bubbles photo - we were saving this bottle for a special occasion and I managed to convince my husband that today was worthy. What a lovely way to end the day..CHEERS!

    1. It is gorgeous - but I just cannot spend more than £100/£120 on a bag and even then, I need to see that it's been reduced. Seems like too much...but maybe my purchase will start a dangerous addiction! x

  3. Absolutely love your outfit today, especially that cute top from H&M, can't believe the price of it. Might have to go and pick one up tomorrow (praying it's still in store!)

Happy Birthday, for whenever it is! x
