As it's warmed up a little here, I pulled out a few things that I bought ages ago but haven't been able to wear yet because of the utterly crap weather! I also made a couple of purchases over the weekend that I couldn't wait to wear....and so today was the day they all collided to make my outfit...
The jeans are from the smelliest shop on the high street, Stradivarius. I couldn't bear to try them on because of the awful pong but they do great denim and I could tell from the look of them that the 12 would do....and it's perfect. Hence no vanity sizing with Stradivarius denim...size up!
The top is also Stradivarius and it's a great basic cream top - good and opaque and nicely oversized for wearing with skinnies. It comes in a few other colours too. Very large sizing here - I'm wearing the S and could have fitted the XS.
I should say here that I picked up this skirt when I was in buying the jeans and top but the size S feels too small (I'd say it's a small 10)...it's a great basic black pleated skirt though that can be dressed up and down and has a lovely floaty material so I'm hoping there's a size M in stock when I bring it back.
The bag is Topshop - I featured it on this blog post. I still can't make up my mind if it looks like I'm heading out for a disappointing picnic but I'm determined to wear it lots this summer and look as stylish as all those other basket-wielding Instagram fashionistas! It is quite generous inside and the car keys don't get lost easily.
But I think the shoes are my favourite. I have a thing for slingbacks and own about 3 pairs tho I rarely wear them....flats always end up being my go-to. Like the bag, I am going to endeavour to wear them a bit more. They're recent stock from Next and have a LEOPARD print heel....go check them out in closer detail online.
Oh and the duster coat is an oldie from Primark. Really handy one for this in-between season time. I got it last spring but I have seen them in store again this year.
also available in silver
Finishing with the earrings, which are from local company Lines and Current....an ethical business run by a gorgeous mum of 3 who inspires me constantly on Instagram. I really don't know how she does it. Her feed is stunning so do go check it out if you're on there.
I'm hoping to get back to some more regular blog posts now we're back from holidays and the lurgy is away. Feels so good to be well again!

Disclaimer - I bought all items myself apart from the earrings, which were a gift from Lines & Current last year. Some of my links are affiliate links which means the brand knows you came to them from my blog and they may pay me a small commission if you buy and keep the item. This doesn't change the price of the item for you and the modest proceeds go towards the upkeep of my website.
I love everything you're wearing on this post - especially the earrings. And I have to laugh at your introduction to Stradivarius-the smelliest shop on the High Street! x
