Checks and Blush | F&F New Season *

Before an *unsponsored peep at what I spotted in my local Tesco on Thursday, here's what I wore yesterday. The main elements have been seen before on the blog, starting with this F&F checked coat I last wore here. There's a handful in a size 18 online and a few of you contacted me to say that you'd found it in-store on the sale rail.

Check Scarf - H&M - I recently saw this in-store on sale (similar here)
Leather Cross Body Bag - River Island (preloved - similar here & here)

Under the scarf, I wore a blush loose blouse that I got on eBay. It's from M&S and I was looking for something else when I saw it but it's a really useful neutral colour. It's going to look lovely with my burgundy biker and I liked that it has good length in it to allow me to pull it out loosely when tucked in - I'm quite self conscious about tucking blouses and tops into my jeans. From memory it was only about £8. You've got to love eBay...
Blush blouse - M&S past season - similar here
Never thought I'd say it but I can't wait to get out of boots and into shoes again. Especially these loafers. I still love them as much as when I got them last year. Yeah, my feet were freezing yesterday but it was worth it!
Wearing my Tesco coat reminded me that I had all these photos on my phone and it might be helpful to share them on here. I was genuinely impressed with the new SS18 range that's started to arrive, starting with this floral midi dress. My only gripe is that it's a bit short for taller girls. I do like a bit more length in my midis....blog post coming on that front.
These lightweight raincoats are lovely and come in 3 colours (you can see the pink in the background) I liked this grey colour...surprise surprise.
Fab converse dupes..
Loads of people contacted me on Instagram to say they have and love this jacket - it's a lovely quality:
And following on from my jeans above, here are this season's version of the higher quality Tesco jean - the Contour Jean which retail at £22. These sell out so fast in the smaller sizes:
Loved the lighter wash for summer...
I spotted a few great holiday tops - on a denim & bardot theme. So happy there are plenty of bardot tops back in the shops again for SS18.
and this next one that I can't find online:
Also this denim dress is lovely - my photo doesn't do it justice. It looks better on the website:
and how lovely is this floral top? Still very appropriate for this time of year...no need to wait for the sun to make an appearance.
And finishing with tassels - all the tassel earrings you could ever want...
Well worth giving the online home delivery a miss and taking a peep inside your local (scary) big Tesco. Anyone else hate the big Tescos? Retail torture...I swear if it wasn't for the clothes, I'd never set foot in one. Tel me I'm not alone!

Have a lovely weekend,

Ax

  1. What a great idea for a post! Love F&F, one of my favourite jumpers (it's covered in pineapples) is from there.
Loving that floral jumper too! x
