As you read this, I'm hopefully (I've missed flights before!) in London, meeting up with my blogging friends and buying new scarves for the shop. But I thought it was important prep this post before I left as it's a new month at long last. Time to bid farewell to the misery that was Frugal February and say hello to the next challenge for the month of March!
If you actually did complete the frugal challenge, please comment below to let me know so I can do the draw for the goodies I promised to give away!
Contrary to my original plan, March is not going to be a Clothes Swap month - I've moved that to another month and I'll explain why when we get to that month (cryptic!). Instead, March is going be Charity Shop Challenge month. So it's is all about you sharing your best charity shop finds throughout the month, ideally stuff you find this month but also if you have an amazing item you've found in the past, please tell me all (Sharon and Natalie - you have to share your Chanel finds!)
Hi Avril!! I think I'll enjoy this month and will be avidly tuning in and of course linking up original and new posts when the linky goes live!! Thanks for the mention and have a fabulous weekend too!! xxx
ReplyDeleteI did complete frugal feb and it's quite odd but I found it fairly easy, which actually is very strange for me given my addiction to online shopping! I'm even considering carrying on a little longer... Though I do have a few virtual shopping baskets waiting to be checked out! Lynne x
ReplyDeleteI've done frugal feb (and Jan as well !!) yippee
ReplyDeleteI successfully completed the frugal Feb! Made it fun by creating fantasy online baskets Everything I liked and wanted, some pretty big baskets sitting there to dream about :)
ReplyDeleteThank goodness February is behind us! I celebrated march in style this morning with a spot of shopping :-) unfortunately that's me done till April now though! I successfully completed frugal feb!
ReplyDeleteI had a frugal Feb (and Jan) but may have undone all the good work yesterday... Hope you are having a fabulous time in London Baby x
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea Avril.....I'm in!! It's about time I started to have a good old root around in my local charity shops......fingers crossed that I manage to unearth a fabulous gem or 2?! xx
ReplyDeleteFrugal Februay was never going to happen for me - I was in South Africa for the last 2 weels and the exchange rate was so good that I went a bit mad on the shopping front. It was the first time I've ever checked my credit card statement coming home and been pleasantly surprised! I love the idea for this challenge though, I'm definitely going to see if I can find a bargain or two. There are quite a few charity shops near me so looking forward to a rummage!
