Patterned Jeans & Wellies...

Just a quick post tonight as I'm already in my thermal PJ's ready for bed. All the glamour! So today, for a change from the usual denim, I went for a bit of leg drama. I've quite a few pairs of patterned jeans but I've not been feeling the love for them the past few months...

Floral Jeans - TU @ Sainsburys (SS12 - similar here & here)
Navy Lightweight Top - Dorothy Perkins (similar)
Grey Wool Scarf - Benetton (similar)
Dark Denim Shirt - Boden
Grey Ankle Boots - Clarks (old - similar here & here)
I mean, they look ok and all that but I'm feeling like patterned skinnies have done their thing and it's time to move on. Judging by the street style photos coming from London and New York, distressed denim is definitely the jeans style of the fashionable peeps. But this is no time for rash fashion decisions so I've bunged these ones in the summer bag and will think about it again when the weather's a bit warmer!
In other news today, the girls got some new Target Dry wellies. I'm sure I've mentioned before that Target Dry are a local company, based here in Belfast and today we were invited to their offices so the girls could chose the pattern they liked most in the new range of kids' wellies..needless to say, pink featured heavily.

Ok, it's past my bedtime now so I'll bid you good night. Hope half term is treating you well - oh and watch out for some new scarves arriving in the shop tomorrow and for anyone wondering, all the leopard print colours are back in stock

  6. Why dont you change up the look by adding a mini skirt ontop or a short skater dress in a plain colour and then have some costume jewellery made to match the jeans? It looks good in my head anyway! with a smile....x

    1. Hi Jules, they're Firmoo ones I bought last year in their sale. Will try to find a link when I'm back at the laptop but I knew I wanted grey frames so I just searched by colour on their site and found those - think their were only $30! Ax

    4. Thanks Avril, the link works! The glasses look good - and they're down to $10! The only problem now is how much it costs to buy super-thin lenses for my terrible eyes ;) They seem to be a good fit for you and I think we may have a similar face shape - I sometimes find it difficult to find specs to fit as my face is quite narrow.

  11. You are lucky Avril, I struggle with patterned jeans (remember the leopard print?!) but your legs still look long and slim! xx

  12. I am the same, haven't worn my floral jeans for ages. I only bought them last summer so will have to think of new ways to style them - maybe when we can wear flats we will like them again! Abbi x

A definite "Yes" vote from me for the floral jeans - I think they look really good, and I hope perhaps the sunny weather will help bring the flowers out !
