Boucle Jacket & Prada-esque Sunnies

Every now and again, a couple of gems come into the charity shop. Now we do get excellent stock in our shop every week and I could probably buy something most days but you have to be disciplined or you'll end up with something a bit worn, that doesn't fit quite right and that you actually don't wear that much. Always ignore the label and the price and focus on fit and condition of the item and how it will fit into your wardrobe. 

I've made two buys over the last couple of weeks that have ticked all those boxes. One I'll share with you later this week but today, I wanted to show you this boucle jacket by a label called Amaryllis.

The colours are gorgeous - bright cornflower blue with some purple and tan thrown in for good measure, on a white/off-white base. Loving how well it goes with my favourite M&S scarf.

And I was super excited today when my new sunglasses arrived from Room 31 (husband not so much - he just doesn't 'get' statement glasses!!). I managed to pick up one of the last pairs in stock the other week but the good news is that Ruth has managed to get more of these Prada-esque glasses back in stock, in black, brown and the blush colour I'm wearing. Only £6 too. Love them so much, I may have purchased in another colour...

Hope you have a great Sunday. I'm off to stand by the rugby pitch for one of the last meets of the season for my son and husband (coach). So needless to say, this is not what I'll be wearing today. In fact, the Lands' End snow boots are looking very likely to get worn today. It is April, isn't it or did I miss something?
