[AD - Affiliate Links] Now I don't think there'll be a part 3 for this as every time I go to check out a sale somewhere, I end up buying. Dangerous. I'll share what arrives when it does.
Throughout, I'm trying to pick beautiful items that will last well beyond the season....but also a few lovely trend-led pieces that are a bit more affordable now they're in the sale.
This time, I'm starting with local handbag brand, Zohara, who always have an amazing sale on their stunning leather bags. I have used my Trassey every day since I got it. It's the perfect work bag and it still looks as good as new.
This next bag has been the real hit of the collection and is almost sold out - such a beauty!
There's loads to see in their sale on this link but this next one is the absolute steal of a bargain - the gorgeous Cross Body in a neutral greige colour for just £35!!
Next, it's another favourite of mine, Oliver Bonas. I always pick up something in their sale each season. There's not a lot left now but I've seen more sizes in store this week.
The first item I've chosen is this slightly sparkly knit. It's got a festive vibe going on but it's actually perfectly ok to wear throughout winter. And it's always good to have a sparkly jumper ready for next Christmas. This is definitely the time to pick up a festive knit if you don't already have one.
This next knit has been one I've had my eye on all season. It's a perfect one for spring & summer so you'll get lots more wear out of it going forward. I think it would look fab with denim shirts and sandals:
Finishing with a coat - this is a lovely cool lilac shade. Perhaps an easier colour to wear if you found the M&S one a bit too bright...
Which brings me onto M&S nicely where the sale is down to the dregs to be honest. It's worth taking a look locally if there's something you're keen on from a clothing point of view because I saw so much in stock in Belfast the other day. Online is still good for footwear though and I tried these grey patent boots on recently as part of one of my Holly Try Ons - they're so lovely and I'm very tempted...
These next boots are a great nod to the western theme that's very much on trend at the moment..but a much more wearable black low heel version:
Next up, leather jackets and this is the time to swoop in and grab yourself an AllSaints biker..the sale stock is all 20% extra off!! My favourite is this Pataya one as the hardware isn't as bright as others. Size wise, I always say to go down with leather bikers as they're not designed to be closed and they do stretch over time
On older skin, black is harder to wear so how about this gorgeous shade of brick red? The Dalby is one of the best selling AllSaints bikers and this is an amazing price:
Finally from AllSaints, a classic camel coat. Still pricey but a gorgeous investment item. Limited sizes available
My last sale recommendation follows on well from yesterday's Hush sale mention. There's lots of Hush stock in John Lewis that's worth checking out if you can't find your size on the main Hush website. There are also some items that aren't available in the main site - worth a look if you're a Hush fan
To finish, don't forget to check out local boutiques - always good to shop local and you'll find gorgeous one-off pieces that will be greatly reduced, especially towards the end of the sale.
Throughout it all, remember the rules of sale shopping...look for quality classic wardrobe basics, make a list of what your wardrobe is lacking before you go looking, don't buy unless you can make up 3 outfits with the item (using items you've already got) and only buy if you don't have anything similar already. I'm dreadful for buying similar items in the sale...hence regular blog sales on here. Speaking of which.....watch this space!
