M&S Home Event | Voucher Giveaway!

The M&S Home event starts on the 27th March and runs until the 4th April with up to 30% off home items. To celebrate the launch, M&S have asked me to share my top picks from the current range and in return, they've given me a voucher to give away to one lucky reader.

We're 3 years in our house and like most people, when we moved in first, there was so much expense involved, we just made do with much of our furniture and bits and pieces and only spent money on the essentials. Now I'm starting to think about updating each room as some of the bits we brought from our last home are looking tired after 13 or 14 years of being in our lives.

First up for our bedroom is lighting and I've shown these bedside lights in-situ in my post from last week - 'what's by my bedside'. I think they are amazing quality for the price with their solid marble effect base, brushed steel and the rotating head. It's given a lovely cool clean scandi look to my bedside drawers and I love how just this one item has updated the whole room.

They also come in uber trendy copper - which I actually prefer but I couldn't do the mixed metals in the room. I'd have ended up wanting to change everything.

Of course, I could have gotten new bedside drawers like these ones and then got my copper light....

A less expensive way to update your bedroom or sofa this season is with a pom pom throw - this one comes in cream as well as grey

Our whole home has a black/grey/ochre theme going on so these towels are perfect in our en-suite and downstairs. I love the yellow trim and fact that they come in a guest size - perfect for the kitchen where I find a regular hand towel is too big.

As well as that colour theme, I've been chevron obsessed so this rug ticks so many boxes

A couple of mirrors now and this hexagonal one with a built in shelf would be amazing in a hallway. I love how it looks with a candle burning on the shelf.

This Round Mirror is stunning and so on trend - it's a fraction of the price of others I've seen and the quality is lovely.

And finishing with the one thing I can't stop buying - bedlinen and this is just the most perfect set to pair up with the pom pom throw from above...and the mirrored bedside drawer unit....

Overall, there's just so much loveliness in the Home section and I'm really liking how it's been merchandised in the online brochure (linked...to save the trees). I'm not the best at interiors so I need to see things in a home setting like in the styled photos above.
