New Boots

Never thought I'd be posting this after last week's heatwave! But the weather is back to typical Irish dismal so we're all dragging the boots back out.  
To cheer myself up, I went into Belfast to look for a bargain in the sales and that's when I saw these beauties in River Island...

Reduced to £30, I was so tempted. You may remember I bought ankle boots not so long ago but I wasn't sure if I'd wear them that much so I got some inexpensive synthetic ones. I've ended up wearing them quite a bit so was keeping an eye out for some good leather ones.

But, as I had already spent my budget on H&M stuff, I talked myself out of buying and went on home. Only to be TORMENTED for the next 24 hours thinking about the blooming boots!

So I phoned River Island the next day and was wowed by the customer service - both members of staff I spoke to were unbelievably helpful and patient. I didn't know the name or item number... all they had to work on was my lame description but after a few minutes, Jonathan was pretty sure he had found them.
When I went in to purchase, the staff were lovely. Even the girl on the till knew about my phone call and said how pleased she was that they had held over the right ones. River Island, Victoria Square Team - I salute you!
Now I need help with my next dilemma. I can't decide whether to wear jeans tucked in or pulled over...what do you think?
