Blush Velvet & Navy

A quick post featuring some items I've been wearing lots and loving in recent weeks.
You've seen the top before on this post. It's from M&S and is in the sale now on this link with limited sizes left. This one seems to be the same shape in a different print but with more sizes available.
The jeans are a pair from Tesco that honestly owe me nothing - I bought them about 3 years ago in the sale for £10. I've have up and down moments with ripped jeans. There's the fear that they are a bit mutton looking but I think a big part of it is how you wear them. In any case, every time I go to potentially give these away, they end up back in my wardrobe.

My bag is a sale bargain from Menarys. I'd been looking for a blush coloured bigger bag and this David Jones one was reduced down to £28 in their summer sale. A steal! It's got tons of room inside and has a cross body strap as well as the handles. It's not leather but it's a very nice fake and for me, I don't use this colour of bag year round so I'm ok with non leather. It's not showing anywhere online but this one is similar.
The shoes though.....they are by far my favourite part of this outfit. And although my back is preventing me wearing heels, I can just about cope with these low block ones. Not for long distances but grand for a morning of meetings.

They're almost sold out on the Office site - just a few 5's and 6's left. I'm wearing the size 6. They're not cheap but I have worn them a few times already and they seem to cross the day to night line really well. I've worn them with black on a night out and with jeans/t-shirt in the daytime. They're just a perfect nude/neutral colour really.
Thanks to Nic from Strawberry Blonde Beauty Blog who took the photos. She's just brilliant. I never feel like a numpty getting my pictures done with her....apart from when passers by stare!

Hope you've had a good day. It's the 12th July here so we were kind of trapped where we live but it wasn't an issue as we'd prepared for an afternoon of going nowhere. I'd also headed up to Blacks Mountain with my son super early so we had our 10,000 steps in the bag by 10am. Great way to start the day.

Enjoy your Thursday - I'm going to see a healer tomorrow......I'll tell you more depending on how it goes. Watch this space!
