I'm a huge fan of local jewellery and accessory company Lines & Current and was excited to buy my first piece back in January down in Banbridge - the Petra Pendulum earrings. I've worn them so much since I got them.....and for someone who hasn't worn an earring in years, that's saying something. They've totally restored my earring love...and luckily my little used piercings were still present.
Lines & Current is owned by Rebekah, a mum of two (with one on the way) who designs all the pieces herself, sticking to a simple, modern and uncluttered approach. Each piece is effortless and unique, yet it's all affordable - so as well as making a great gift for someone else, it's something you could easily treat yourself to.
So I was very excited when Rebekah, after seeing me share my earrings on here, got in touch to see if I'd like to try another piece from her collection. I didn't even have to think about it because I was already planning to buy this next piece....the Alma Infinity Necklace in gold.
The reason I earmarked this one is that I love a short necklace....so many fine pieces hang too low on me and end up falling under necklines and disappearing. This sits perfectly at my clavicle and is visible with most of what I wear every day.
It's got a gorgeous fine chain and actually it's made so that the infinity twist sits asymmetrically on the neck (hence the name!). Being a fan of symmetry, I wasn't sure if this would bother me...but it doesn't and actually, it's completely possible to wear the twist at the centre...it sits just as happily that way as it does to the side.
For me, it's a beautiful piece for a friend or a loved one - the infinity twist symbolises eternity, empowerment, and everlasting love.
This month, Rebekah has launched a new line - the Erikka Earring and Wishbone Midi-Ring set, available in Gold, Silver and new to Lines & Current, Oxidised Silver - a dark grey colour. Stunning.
So with Valentine's Day this week, it's the perfect time to drop all the hints or just treat yourself. If your husband's like mine and thinks Valentine's Day is a load of commercial rubbish, you'll be doing the latter along with me. I do tend to agree with him but I'd still not turn down the excuse to buy a necklace and a massive box of chocolates. All safe in the knowledge that you're supporting a local mum, who's juggling a business, a pregnancy and 2 kids! Legend.
You can see the whole range of Lines & Current jewellery on this link, along with Rebekah's range of eyewear, headwear and bags and read more about the charities she supports throughout the year by donating 10% of her profits.
And if you do get a Lines & Current piece or indeed have one already, you can enter an Instagram giveaway by posting a picture of your piece using the hashtag #MinimalbutwithMeaning. More details over on Instagram on this link.
Thank you Rebekah for doubling my Lines & Current collection...it won't be the last piece. I know that for sure *ponders next purchase*.

Love the Lines&Current jewellery range, it's just so gorgeous and simple. I bought myself a piece before Christmas and I wear it nearly everyday, it just goes with everything :)
