Burgundy & Navy Knitted Cape

When I was in England the other week, I spotted this knitted cape in a shop in Berkshire and fell in love. I'm a cape/poncho/coatigan kinda girl you see. I drive the school run so don't need a big heavy coat every day but I also hate to be cold so I love an outer layer that can easily be worn around the house to keep me cosy. This cape does the job. Now it would appear it's a bit photo shy as the last set of pictures hubby took were un-usable...for lots of reasons - blurring, sunshine, closed eyes, cape not sitting straight etc. I donned it again today on a trip to Belfast and we tried some more shots. Much of the same...so here's the best of a bad lot...

I'm layering up here with a navy long sleeved jersey top over a white vest, skinny jeans and burgundy boots. Almost sold these boots on the blog sale but they are so comfy - I'm glad I held on to them now as they are a good match for this cape!
Size-wise on the cape, I am wearing an S. There was no M in this colour. I did try on the M in a different colour and there wasn't much difference in size. It was a bit fuller and longer.
